Are you a proactive and dependable electrician, dedicated to safeguarding the safety and functionality of electrical systems? We’re currently seeking a skilled Commercial/Industrial Service Electrician to join our team. Your primary role will involve maintaining the electrical infrastructure for our major blue-chip clients. Work hours are from 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM, with the option for overtime, totalling 8-hour days. Your duties will include completing both reactive and preventative maintenance, as well as providing assistance with project works. As a vital team member, you’ll ensure the seamless operation of electrical systems through proactive maintenance and responsive measures. This position offers autonomy and is ideal for those who excel in dynamic environments and enjoy tackling complex problems. Tasks and responsibilities may include:
- Breakdown Assistance in commercial and industrial facilities.
- Fault diagnostics and rectifications.
- RCD Checks and replacements.
- EHHA Installs and inspections.
- Install and maintain power generation systems.
- Emergency lighting checks and replacements.
- UPS checks, Upgrades, and replacements.
- Generator Checks and servicing.
- Thermographic testing of distribution boards.
- General inspection of electrical equipment and environment locations.
- Reporting of any identified faults and Issues.
- Assisting with estimations on time and materials for fault repairs.
- Undertake inspection, testing, verification activities and complete reports as required.
The successful applicant will have:
- WA Electrical Licence
- Current drivers licence
- EWP High risk licence
- Working at heights
- White Card
- CPR/LVR
- Cert4 EEHA Hazardous areas (Highly Desirable)
- MSIC (Ports Clearance Highly Desirable)
- Current Police Clearance.
- Previous experience in a similar role?
- Must be able to pass a full medical including drug and alcohol testing.
