About ICE Engineering & Construction:
ICE Engineering and Construction, part of the Tasmea Limited group of companies, is a specialist Electrical and Instrumentation Installation company that operates in the Heavy Industrial sectors.

We provide our maintenance and construction services to the Mining, Renewables, Utilities, Defence and Hydrocarbon industries on a national basis.

The opportunity:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Superintendent to join our ICE Engineering team in the Cooper Basin. This will be on a 2/2 roster, flying from Adelaide or Brisbane.

The Project Superintendent is responsible for ensuring all ICE projects are completed safely, adhering to State/Federal OHS/WHS legislation, customer, and ICE safety policies. This role oversees onsite project performance, meets budget and timeline goals, and supports delivery teams in achieving customer expectations.

Key responsibilities include managing project scope changes, contract management, and negotiating variations. Accurate and timely reporting on project performance, safety incidents, growth opportunities, and improvements is essential.

The successful applicant will have:

  • South Australian Electrical Licence.
  • White Card.
  • South Australian Drivers Licence.
  • Cert IV EEHA ( less than 3 years).
  • Cert III or Cert IV Instrumentation.

Preferred experience:

  • Experience in supervision of office and site personnel.
  • Experience in supervising construction projects, ideally within an electrical environment.
  • Leadership experience with teams exceeding 20 members.
  • Identifying improvement opportunities and suggests constructive changes.
  • Consistently seeks ways to enhance customer satisfaction and strengthen client relationships.
  • Skilled in managing and selecting subcontractors to meet project requirements.
  • Experience in the in the interpretation of drawings and specifications.
  • Familiarity with lump sum and rate-based projects.
  • Experience with Work in Progress assessments for financial reporting purposes.
