The opportunity:
We are seeking highly skilled and experienced Electrical Instrumentation Technicians to join our team in Gladstone in January 2025, for the Construction of Gladstone Hydrogen Facility.

The ideal candidates will have experience with instrumentation installations and tubing for industrial or construction projects, as well as prior involvement in commissioning tasks for electrical and instrumentation systems. Additionally, they should have worked on hazardous area installations or projects involving hydrogen manufacturing equipment.

The successful applicants will have:

  • Electrical Trade Certification or relevant qualifications in electrical work.
  • Electrical Instrumentation Cert III and IV.
  • High Risk Work Licence (of working in hazardous environments or operating machinery).
  • White Card, Drivers Licence, and Working at Heights Certification.
  • Expertise in Instrument Installation and Configuration, Instrument Tubing, Commissioning, and Electrical and Circuit Testing.
  • Safety first mindset.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues during installation and commissioning phases.

Desirable:

  • Experience with high-voltage (HV) installations and maintenance, particularly in industrial environments.
  • Experience in project management or leading teams on urban residential or industrial electrical projects.
  • Specialized Training in switchboard installation, HV switching, or distribution network upgrades.
  • Hazardous Area Certification for work in potentially explosive or dangerous environments (e.g., industrial plants).
